St Andrews & Jammie Dodgers
Noah's Ark
Perham Down

At St Andrews we pride ourselves on offering a stimulating environment that is inclusive and child centred which is supported by our professional team of staff in a warm and friendly home from home manner. St Andrews based in Tidworth, first registered in 1991, it serves both military and civilian families in the area.We operate from two converted semi detached houses. This gives us very spacious outdoor facilities and generous sized individual playrooms.

The Children are able to access weekly Disco Dough and Yoga sessions. Our play rooms are well resourced and well planned to ensure that each child is able to explore, discover and become active , curious and competent learners. To ensure that each child reaches their full potential we have quality target time throughout the day, which consists of a program of activities that will have been planned to meet their individual learning and development needs. All the settings staff are fully qualified childcare practitioners working towards higher level qualifications.

St Andrews ethos takes a child centred approach and as such we strive to forge strong relationships with our parents and the wider community. As a setting striving to achieve the best outcomes for all our children and families, we continually work hard to secure partnerships with outside agencies and maintain strong links with other early years professionals.

St Andrews is registered on the Early Years Register, children can attend morning, and afternoon sessions or can attend for full days. We are registered for a maximum of 54 children per session children can attend from 3 months olds and stay with us until school entry. We are in receipt of government funding for the provision of three year olds and we are able to offer 2 year old funding for families and children. Our ethos is centred around the  Highscope pedagogy. St Andrews pre-school and Jammie dodgers is rated "Outstanding" by ofsted.

We believe that children are best supported when parents and carers work together

We believe that children need to be respected in order to respect

We will help children to develop positive relationships with their peers and the club staff

In order to foster the children’s positive sense of self and self-esteem we will ensure that the

experiences, family background, interests, abilities and cultural heritage are positively

celebrated and reflected throughout the services the club provides

Our ethos is centred around the  Highscope pedagogy

As a club we collect children from Clarendon infant school and Clarendon Junior school. Each child who attends the Jammie Dodgers After School Club must have a completed registration form.

Registration is free, and only needs to be completed once. This will then enable your child to take part in after school club and holiday club if needed. The registration form provides us with your contact details, and medical information such as your doctor, in case of emergency

    Two Year Olds Funding

Following reports emphasising the importance of early intervention, the Government introduced an initiative to fund places for vulnerable two year olds. This enabled those with an identified need to access up to 10 hours of free entitlement. TNB Early Years and Play strongly supports this initiative, with four settings currently able to accept children in the programme. Help and support in applying for Two Year Funding can be sought via the health visitor, or local children’s centre.
