TNB Garrison Early Years and Play is a forward-thinking company who believes that early education sets the foundations of future learning.
All our seven settings offer a home from home feel where the children are at the centre of all that we do and by providing a varied curriculum, we are able to capture the children’s interests.
We value and invest in our employees. We recognise the need to provide high quality learning opportunities. We seek training that will support and enhance our early years educator's knowledge and experience.
We know that high quality childcare requires dedicated and well-trained Early Years Educators so along with offering in-house training and external training for our existing staff, we also offer an apprenticeship scheme. Please see our Apprenticeship page
for more details.
At TNB Garrison Early Years and Play, we offer:
Off the job weekly training with a skilled practitioner. This can be either in a group or on an individual basis.
Whole TNB training days offering guest speakers and a range of workshops.
Training packages using Noodle Now or Flick with over 60 courses available that each staff member can access at any time.
A higher hourly rate of pay for our apprentices, because we want to encourage adults of all ages into the childcare sector.
A financial increment for every 20% of the apprentice qualification completed.
Paediatric First aid training included in the training package.
TNB utilise the knowledge and expertise of our more experienced staff to support others. These ‘TNB Champions’ are able to provide training and/or mentoring either individually or as part of group training.
The early years matter and that is why TNB are dedicated to give every child the best possible start to their lifelong journey.
TNB Training Day 2023
It was wonderful to welcome back all seven early years settings to the Garrison Theatre where we held our TNB Training Day.
We were very fortunate to have Alice Sharp and Marie Richardson from Adventures with Alice. They were incredible and the day was both inspiring and thought-provoking. We are looking forward to seeing how this impacts our educators and in turn how it makes a difference to the children’s learning and development.
