Nursery Education Funding
All settings registered with Ofsted are eligible to accept Nursery Education Grant funding. This is a universal benefit for every child from the term after their third birthday. Every child is entitled to up to 15 hours free early years education for up to 38 weeks of the year. Parents do not have to apply for this grant, the pre-school or nursery that your child is registered with will ensure that s/he receives their entitlement.
30 hours extended funding is available to working parents. To find out if your child is eligible. Please visit

Better 2gether Funding
The government introduced an initiative to fund places for vulnerable two year olds. This enabled those with an identified need to access up to 15 hours of free entitlement.
TNB Early Years & Play strongly support this initiative. Help and support in applying for the funding can be sought via health visitor or local children's centre.
